Polish technologies and inventions at Hannover Messe 2017

Hannover Messe 2017 International Trade Fair for Innovative Industrial Technologies is an excellent opportunity to showcase Polish technologies and inventions. More than 200 companies from Poland, including start-ups, present their products at the fair.

Hannover Messe 2017 will last until April 28. The opening ceremony was attended, alongside Chancellor Angela Merkel, by the Prime Minister of the Polish government Beata Szydło. In Hannover, in addition to the head of government, there are also deputy prime ministers: the minister of financeow and Development Minister Mateusz Morawiecki and Science Minister Jarosław Gowin. The partner country of the fairow is Poland.

The Polish national stand is the largest stand at the fair. A range of cutting-edge technologies and product is on display on more than 1,200 sqmoin created by Polish companies and scientific units. In addition, there is also a SciTech Poland stand organized by the Ministry of Science and Higher Education, dedicated to Polish science. There, on more than 400 sqm, visitors and participants of the fairow will get to know 27 solutions – the most interesting inventions from Polish universities, institute ofoin research and innovative solutions created by Polish studentsow. The SciTech Poland zone is complementary to the National Center for Research and Development (NCRD) zone located in the national pavilion, where 10 technologies are presented.

Amongod Polish solutions presented at Hannover Messe are m.in. individual streetcar, whichory was created at the Department of Transportation of the Warsaw University of Technology. It is an electric vehicle operating on the basis of the Personal Rapid Transit (PRT) system. It is a system of automatic transport of osob, ktory has features zaroboth individual and public transport. PRT vehicles take from 3 to 5 people on boardob, move on lightweight track infrastructure or use a track "virtual" on roadways.

Researchers from the Institute of Physical Chemistry of the Polish Academy of Sciences (IPC PAS) in Warsaw, in turn, presented an ultrafast laser – femtosecond laser. They are satisfied with their participation in the fair. – Today one potential customer spoke with us, dwoch potential investorsow – said prof. Yuriy Stepanenko of the IPC of the Polish Academy of Sciences, and, as he notes, this is only the first day of the fairow.

Mikolaj RogoFrom the Faculty of Physics at the University of Warsaw, tworca of a tiny caterpillar robot powered by light, told in turn that during the fairow talked with colleagues from other teamsoin research, which gave birth to the idea for a new project, whichory perhaps has a chance to be implemented.

Polish innovators also present at the fair Photon, the world’s first interactive robot teaching children the basics of programming. – The children’s task is to develop the robot to discover its new functions and grow with it – describes Damian Traczyk from the start-up Photon Enterntainment, founded by graduate studentow and scientistscow from Bialystok University of Technology. – We have already had several proposals to establish a partnershipocooperation. (…) I did not expect such a positive reception – concludes.

Industrial Institute for Automation and MeasurementoResearchers from the Institute of Physical Chemistry of the Polish Academy of Sciences (IPC PAS) in Warsaw, in turn, present a mobile pyrotechnic robot, Gryf. The remote-controlled robot is designed for quick reconnaissance of terrain and hard-to-reach places, and for carrying out rotional interventions. Griffin can also transport an object weighing up to 15 kilograms, neutralize dangerous cargo and listen to conversations in the immediate environment, as well as overcome unrealisticoterrain and obstacles with an angle of up to 45 degrees.

There is also the latest Ursus product, an electric carod delivery. This is one of the most interesting offers during the fairow. Printing project for the body of a delivery vehicle carried out on behalf of URSUS S.A. by the Radom Center for Innovation and Technology – spoThe company, owned by the Industrial Development Agency and operating under the brand Infinitech 3D – is one of the largest printoin Poland so far.

Participants of the fairow, thanks to the NCRD prepared „virtual walk”, They will move to modern and well-equipped Polish laboratoriesoin, whichore boldly able to compete with foreign centers, providing R&D services to business and scientific institutions. In this wayob will present themselves m.in. Wroclaw Research Center EIT+, Cyclotron Center Bronowice IFJ PAN or National Center of Synchrotron Radiation SOLARIS.

The motto of this year’s fairoat Hannover Messe 2017 is „Integrated Industry – Creating Value”. The idea combines roVarious topics related to e.g. with the digitization of production (Industry 4.0) or energy efficiency. In turn, the slogan of the Polish presence at the Hannover Fair as a partner country is SMART MEANS POLAND.
