Neuronus 2018 IBRO Neuroscience Forum conference
On April 20-22, 2018, the Neuronus 2018 IBRO Neuroscience Forum conference will be held at the Auditorium Maximum of the Jagiellonian University in Krakow, Poland. This is a multidisciplinary, international scientific conference at the intersection of neuroscience, neuropsychology and medicine.
Over the years, the conference has been under the patronage of m.in.: Rector of the Jagiellonian University, Mayor of Krakow, the Ministry of Science and Higher Education. The conference is supported by the International Brain Research Organization (IBRO), the Polish Society for Nervous System Research and the Polish Academy of Sciences.
With the support of many domestic as well as foreign institutions and the participation of more than 2,500 participantsow, over the past editions the conference has become one of the leading neuroscience events in Central and Eastern Europe, as roalso an esteemed and prestigious scientific event on a continental scale.
Its mainoThe main goal is to attract as many students as possibleow, master’sow and PhD studentoin order to provide solid and reliable information to help shape future prospects in the world of science and entrepreneurship.
The program for this year’s conference will consist of six lecturesoin the plenary delivered by Keynote Speakers:

- Prof. Markus Ullsperger (University of Magdeburg, Germany)
- Prof. Yves De Koninck (Laval University, Canada)
- Prof. Thomas Kuner (University of Heidelberg, Germany)
- prof. Emma Robinson (University Of Bristol, UK)
In addition, there will be 25 presentations by invited guests and 15 oral sessions and symposiaow. Detailsoln addition, the program includes a session in memory of Professor Jerzy Vetulani, a neuroscientist famous for his popular science work, and Professor Krzysztof Wędzony, a prominent neuropharmacologist – Drugs that Heal, Drugs that Kill: Tribute to Professors Jerzy Vetulani and Krzysztof Wędzony.
